After that, Hartman will continue in other growth-oriented positions within HögforsGST, responsible for the company’s strategy and business development. He will also continue to be a significant shareholder in HögforsGST.
Adel Hattab is currently the CEO of Helvar Group. Helvar makes intelligent and energy-saving lighting control solutions and serves customers in over 50 countries. The company is headquartered in Espoo, Finland, and has product development in the UK and Finland.
Hattab has extensive experience in international business. His previous employers include Nokia, Metso, and Outotec, where he was responsible for business management and development, regional business operations, and service business. Hattab holds an M.Sc. in Engineering and an MBA.
– Moving to HögforsGST to work on district heating, district cooling, and hybrid solutions is exciting. Our mission is to support our customers in achieving their environmental and energy efficiency goals. Modern and smart buildings run on efficient hybrid solutions, and older buildings need modern district heating substations to improve their energy efficiency. HögforsGST is a strong player in this area and has excellent growth potential, says Hattab.
Antti Hartman believes the time is right for a new CEO.
– I have had the honor of leading HögforsGST and seeing its growth and development. Together, we have achieved significant milestones, and now is the right time to hand over the responsibilities of CEO to a new leader who will take the company to the next level. In my new role, I will focus on supporting the company’s growth. I also want more time for my family and myself, says Hartman.
Sakari Toikkanen, Chairman of the Board, warmly welcomes Adel Hattab to HögforsGST.
– I am thrilled that Adel will be joining the HögforsGST team. Adel is a respected and skilled leader with solid experience. His open and analytical approach and good communication skills will provide a sound basis for leading HögforsGST in the coming years. I would also like to thank Antti for his great work developing HögforsGST into one of the major heating system experts in the Nordics, says Toikkanen.
